It is shocking that even today, the girl-child is considered a curse in certain parts of the country. The only solution to this is education. By educating the people, their discriminatory attitude towards the girl-child can be reduced (if not eliminated). Let us pledge to reduce the discrimination against the girl-child by educating people.
